You create the artwork online before the workshop. We prepare it for your ukulele and map it precisely onto the wood. On Saturday, the projection becomes your live stencil while you paint.

Your design is waiting, calibrated to the wood. Follow the projected shapes, mix colors and make it unmistakably yours.

We finish it
We seal the artwork, complete the assembly, add quality strings and tune it. Your playable art piece is then ready to collect.

A studio workshop,
not an art class.
Relaxed, beginner-friendly and hosted at WELTKUNSTZIMMER in Flingern-Süd. We guide the technical setup so you can focus on the making.
12+Minimum age. Anyone under 18 joins with an accompanying adult.

Questions, answered.
Do I need to know how to paint or play?
No. The projection gives you a clear guide, and we help with paint techniques. Your ukulele arrives tuned and ready for your first chords.
Can I use any image for my design?
You can upload your own artwork or photos and fit them across the full ukulele body in the design studio. You must have permission to use the image; we’ll also check that the result translates well to paint.
Why can’t I take it home on Saturday?
Your artwork needs to dry before we seal and assemble the instrument. Rushing this would damage the finish. Collection is normally available within 3–5 days.
Who can join?
The minimum age is 12. Participants under 18 must attend with an accompanying adult. The duo package works well for a young maker and parent sharing one ukulele.
Can I book for a private group?
Yes. Private Saturdays are available for groups of up to six people, including birthdays, families and small team events. Ask us for a group quote.
